The 2026 NFL Scouting Combine takes place February 27 – March 2 at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis. Over 300 draft-eligible prospects are invited to participate in medical evaluations, interviews, and on-field workouts measured by electronic timing.
Key athletic tests include the 40-yard dash (straight-line speed), vertical jump (lower-body explosiveness), broad jump (power), bench press (225 lbs, upper-body strength), 3-cone drill (short-area quickness), and 20-yard shuttle (lateral agility). Not all prospects participate in every drill.
We also compute four composite scores for prospects with enough drill data: Athletic Score (ATH) — overall athleticism percentile based on size-adjusted combine performance; Speed Score (SPD) — weight-adjusted 40 time; Agility Score (AGI) — derived from 3-cone and shuttle; and Explosion Score (EXP) — combining vertical and broad jump relative to body weight.
