Dallen Bentley
Utah
Scouting Report

A late-blooming, JUCO-transfer tight end who turned one real season of production into legitimate draft buzz with zero drops on 76 targets and a knack for sitting in zone windows and making himself available. Bentley won't scare anyone with his athleticism or create separation against NFL man coverage, but he catches everything thrown his way, adjusts to off-target balls with surprising body control, and brings enough physicality after the catch to move the chains. The blocking is a development project — effort is there, but sustaining blocks and anchoring through the whistle are both question marks that NFL coaches will need to fix. His floor is a dependable No. 2 TE who earns trust in play-action heavy systems; his ceiling is capped by the lack of burst and a one-year sample size that makes evaluators squint.

Pro ComparisonTyler Conklin

Similar body type and receiving profile — reliable hands, zone-coverage exploiter, decent YAC ability, but won't create separation against man coverage or be a dynamic mismatch weapon. Carves out a role as a dependable No. 2 TE who catches everything and can line up in multiple spots.
