Dillon Wade
Auburn
Scouting Report

Wade is a light-footed, hyper-athletic guard who can move like a running back pulling across the formation — he's one of the best movers at the position in this class and finds second-level targets with natural radar. The problem is that he's undersized at 6'3" and lacks the play strength NFL defensive tackles will expose, particularly in gap-scheme concepts where he can get walked back to the quarterback. In a wide-zone offense that asks its guards to pull, climb, and mirror in space, Wade can carve out a role as a swing interior lineman whose versatility (he's played every OL spot except center in games) makes him a valuable 53-man roster piece. The floor is a quality backup who bounces between guard and emergency tackle; the ceiling is a scheme-specific starter in a Shanahan-tree system where athleticism matters more than anchor.

Pro ComparisonBen Powers

Athletic guard who wins with movement skills and positioning rather than brute force, found a home in a zone-heavy scheme (Denver/Baltimore) after being a developmental prospect. Similar size/strength profile — functional starter in the right system, liability if asked to anchor in man-blocking concepts.
