Jaeden Roberts
Alabama
Scouting Report

Roberts is a phone-booth mauler with freakish weight-room strength — a 525-lb bench, 805-lb squat, 415-lb power clean — who bulldozes defenders at the point of attack and racks up pancakes in bunches when his pad level is right. The problem is that his pad level often isn't right: he lunges, bends at the waist, plays high, and when quicker interior rushers hit him with counters, he looks like a man stuck in mud with no recovery mechanism. A concussion-shortened 2025 and a string of lower-body injuries across three seasons raise durability questions that compound the technical concerns. In the right gap/power scheme with a patient OL coach, he's a potential long-term starter who can absolutely cave a B-gap for your running back; in the wrong scheme, he's a liability on passing downs who washes out of the league in two years.

Pro ComparisonO'Cyrus Torrence

Similar physical profile and playing style — a massive, immovable interior mauler who dominates in gap/power run concepts but whose lateral limitations and technique questions cap his ceiling. Both rely on overwhelming strength rather than technical refinement.
